Patients are referred to RHCI by our partner hospitals and clinics. Each case undergoes a rigorous verification process, including medical assessment and financial need evaluation. We prioritize cases where surgical intervention will have the most significant life-changing impact.

We maintain direct partnerships with healthcare facilities and make payments directly to them for patient care. We never give cash to patients or families. Every expense is documented with receipts and medical records, which are accessible to the respective donors.

100% of donations designated for specific patients go directly to their medical care. RHCI's operational costs are covered separately through grants and unrestricted donations specifically designated for administrative purposes.

The timeline varies depending on the complexity of the case and how quickly funding is secured. Typically, once a patient is fully funded, surgery is scheduled within 2-4 weeks. The entire process from identification to post-operative follow-up usually takes 3-6 months.

Yes! Donors receive updates through their donor dashboard, including pre-operative preparation, surgery completion notification, and recovery updates. We provide photos (with patient consent) and progress reports while maintaining appropriate medical privacy.

RHCI is a registered non-profit organization in Tanzania. For Tanzanian donors, contributions are tax-deductible. For international donors, tax benefits depend on your country's regulations regarding international charitable contributions.
